- Hi! I'm Kate. In 2013, I moved to Germany and felt begrudgingly obliged to blog about it. Turns out, I actually like writing. Somewhere along the way I stopped writing for other people, and started writing because I couldn't not write. I don't live in Germany anymore, but I'm still finding things to write about. I am a teacher, and my husband of three years, Jordan, is a grad school counseling student. He's also really handy and before we moved to Germany, we bought and flipped our first house.
